    Unnati has over 10 years of experience in advising major corporates, banks and financial institutions in relation to a broad range of competition law matters.

    She has represented clients in complex and high-profile antitrust litigations before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) (including Director General (Investigation)), appellate tribunal, High Courts and Supreme Court of India (SC) relating to prosecuting and defending cartel allegations, abuse of dominant position and procuring leniency. She has also advised companies in relation to cartel leniency cases, market abuse investigations including competition concerns in various types of commercial agreements.

    She routinely advises on M&A transactions from competition law perspective, by devising company’s merger control strategy for obtaining approval from the CCI.

    Further, she has advised multinational corporations in relation to formulation of their competition law compliance policies and conducted compliance audits. She also advises multinational corporations in relation to a whole range of competition issues (contentious as well as advisory) in a variety of sectors.

    Recently Legal500 Asia Pacific Guide 2021 listed Unnati as a rising star lawyer for competition.

    Prior to joining INDUSLAW, she has worked with J. Sagar Associates and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.).
