Shreya is a Partner with the Delhi office of INDUSLAW and specializes in Information
Technology and Data Security Laws, Laws relating to Payments & Financial
Technology, Telecom Laws and Corporate & Commercial Advisory.
She has extensive experience in advising domestic and
international clients engaged in e-commerce, technology, hospitality, health, financial
services, and manufacturing sectors including in relation to business and
product structuring, data privacy and security governance frameworks, digital
platform terms and policies and internal company policies, strategic and
non-strategic commercial agreements, consumer protection and soft intellectual
property matters.
In the telecom space, she regularly advises clients on
structuring and compliance with respect to SMS and voice products under
applicable telecommunication and data protection laws.
Shreya also has substantial expertise advising on
regulatory risk and compliance frameworks for existing and proposed product
offerings. She frequently interacts with different regulators on policy issues
in the e-commerce and technology sectors (including financial technology). She
additionally provides regulatory support on obtaining licenses, authorisations
and registrations in this space.
Her past work experience also includes being
associated with practicing advocates in the High courts and the Supreme Court
as well as an associateship with a magic circle law firm, Clifford Chance where
she worked with clients and law firms in multiple jurisdictions including
Singapore, the U.K. and the U.A.E.
