Ruchika
focuses on contentious trademark matters advising clients across a wide range
of industries on the protection, growth, and sustainability of their brands. By
providing legal support in registration, use and exploitation of new and
existing trademarks, she aids in successfully carrying out trademark
prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, and settlement negotiations in order
to protect already registered as well as proposed trademarks.
Ruchika also counsels clients on protecting trademarks
in foreign jurisdictions, and on cross-border registration, opposition and
cancellation proceedings. She has also completed a course on Competition Law
& Intellectual Property Rights (IPComp) by Federation of Indian Chambers of
Commerce and Industry and a course on Intellectual Property Licensing in India
by CUTS Institute of Regulation & Competition. (CIRC)
In her spare time, Ruchika likes to unwind by
creating resin art and making organic soaps. She has working level proficiency
in French language and is also a certified Scuba Diving Instructor.
