Revathy
is a partner in the Firm’s Mumbai office. Her core practice area includes
Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Investments. She also specializes
in General Corporate Commercial, Domestic and Cross Border Investments,
Corporate Restructuring, Employment and Compliance.
She
has advised clients on structuring and negotiating several transactions,
including share acquisitions and business transfers across various sectors such
as manufacturing, energy (renewable and conventional), real estate, healthcare,
services, automotive and information technology. She regularly advises clients
on the foreign exchange control laws in India in connection with both inbound
and outbound investments.
Her
corporate commercial practice also includes advice and assistance with
incorporation of legal entities and setting up joint-ventures in India, advice
on managing day-to-day business operations and review/drafting various
commercial contracts. She also advises clients on routine corporate secretarial
compliances and statutory registrations.
As
a part of the employment practice, she has also been actively involved in
conducting labour audits and advising on employee related issues, including
sexual harassment proceedings, senior management contracts and other employee
related such as non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.
Before
joining INDUSLAW, Revathy worked with firms such as JSA (Chennai &
Gurugram), Trilegal (Bengaluru) and HSB Partners, Chennai.
