Akash is a part of Tax team at INDUSLAW.
Prior to joining us, Akash was part of the Regulatory team of
Ernst &Young LLP in
their Tax practice where he advised on implications of foreign exchange
management act (FEMA) for more than eight years. His routine practice included
assignments of regulatory health check where he assisted many companies in
resolving their procedural issues with foreign exchange department and trade
division of the Reserve Bank of India and advising them on compounding
procedures or representation before the Enforcement Directorate.
Akash has been actively advising companies on availing approvals under Foreign Direct Investment policy from Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and other regulatory bodies.
In his spare time, he likes cooking specially for his daughter.
